Meet The Owner - Hear The History
Welcome to P-2’s Irish Pub! My name is Michelle LeBlanc Blair, owner of P-2’s and we welcome you to “The Place to Be in the Adirondacks!” If this is your first time with us, we welcome you to our establishment. If you are returning, thank you, we are happy to have you back! We are often asked, how did P-2’s get its name?” When my Dad, Joseph “P-2” Alexander LeBlanc, was born he was the smallest of 9 children. When our Aunt Rita met him, she said “ahhh my little pitou” (the petite or little one in French.) The name stuck and turned into P-2. He had this name through school, college, and the Army. When he took over this business in 1966, he named it Al’s Lounge and his slogan was “Meet you at P-2’s!”

The Evolution

The Evolution
Dad operated his bar for 40 years before we had to move him into assisted living in 2006. One of his dreams was to always convert this space into an Irish Pub. I had an opportunity to do this for him. I renovated it and reopened it as P-2's Irish Pub with the slogan, "The Place to Be in the Adirondacks!". We were closed during the pandemic for 13 months. Upon reopening, we now feel our new slogan is, "The Place You Leave Smiling Bigger Than You Arrived!". We hope you enjoy your time with us!
